This policy explains what this website stores on your device, why, and how to remove it. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which covers everything else we do with your personal data.
We have deliberately kept this site light. We do not use advertising cookies, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell or share browsing data with anyone.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website places on your device so it can recognise it later. Related technologies — local storage and session storage — do a similar job, but the data stays in your browser rather than being sent back with every request. This policy covers all three, because the distinction rarely matters to the person reading it.
What this website stores
On an ordinary visit, this site sets no cookies at all. What it does use is browser storage, for two specific jobs:

If you log in to the site — which applies to staff, not clients — WordPress sets its own authentication and preference cookies (wordpress_logged_in_…, wp-settings-…). These are strictly necessary for a logged-in session and are not set for ordinary visitors.
Third parties
A few things on this site are loaded from other companies. None of them set an advertising cookie, but requesting a file from another company’s server does reveal your IP address to them, and you are entitled to know that.

Analytics and advertising
At the time of writing this site runs no analytics, no tag manager and no advertising pixels. Nothing here builds a profile of you or follows you to other websites.
If that changes — and we may add basic analytics so we can see which pages are useful — we will update this policy and introduce a consent banner at the same time, so that nothing non-essential is loaded before you have agreed to it.
How to control or remove it
Because the site sets no cookies on an ordinary visit, there is nothing to switch off before you browse. To clear what has been stored:
- Clear your browser data. Every browser has an option to clear cookies and site data, usually under Privacy or History. Doing so removes everything above.
- Use a private window. Nothing is retained after you close it.
- Block storage for this site. Most browsers allow per-site settings. The site will still work; the search panel simply will not remember what you looked at.
Blocking browser storage will not stop you contacting us, submitting an enquiry, or reading anything on the site.
Does this affect my legal matter?
No. Nothing described on this page is used to make any decision about your case, and none of it forms part of your file. How we handle information you actually give us — and how long we keep it — is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page whenever what the site stores changes. Because the description above is specific rather than generic, an out-of-date version would be misleading, so it is reviewed whenever the site is changed.
